Design Director - Sociofabrica -  2016 - Current

SocioFabrica is an award-winning digital agency with fortune 500 clients including Ross Stores, Nespresso & IBM. I lead our team of designers, animators, and copywriters in the development of compelling digital solutions for cross-vertical B2B & B2C businesses.

Guide clients through the creative process ensuring smooth project workflow from pitch to delivery. 
Build, manage and mentor design teams through day to day creative problem solving.
Partner closely with strategy and development teams to produce holistic digital experiences.
Lead design initiatives for ADA compliant redesigns and CCPA integration to ensure usability for all customers.
Led the direction of multiple award-winning omnichannel integrated campaigns for Nespresso. 
Introduced an editorial aesthetic to digital marketing materials for Ross Stores increasing customer engagement in email sign up, social channels, and campaign ROI.

Senior Designer - Walmart.com -  2013 - 2016

Walmart.com is an e-commerce giant that remains very focused on its core customer and their needs. I led a team of designers through brand marketing efforts and established the look and feel of organization-wide promotional campaigns.

 

• Closely collaborated with copywriters, art directors and producers to deliver innovative shopping experiences. 
• Directed in house photo teams for Walmart’s highest-grossing verticals, Home and Apparel.
• Assisted with the 2014 site migration to a new platform with a fully responsive redesign.
• Strategized with cross-functional teams to create specialty brand pages and personalized customer experiences.
• Led creation of brand partnership launches including Dyson, Calphalon, Keurig and celebrity design collections.
• Designed and launched their first online wedding registry on Walmart.com.

Art Director - Freelance & Agency 2010 - 2013 

Consulting clients include GAP, Bare Essentuals, SF Giants, & Indosoles.

 

• Created storyboards, brand systems, user experience and responsive web designs for new clients.
• Partnered with creative and marketing leadership to establish brand visions through digital storytelling. 
• Created an exclusive online experience for the launch of the private Gotham Club at the SF Giants stadium.
• Designed analytics driven digital media and newsletters for beauty and apparel brands.

Art Director - Venture Commerce 2008 - 2010

VentureCommerce was a full service e-commerce agency that offered digital marketing, e-commerce, and product distribution for apparel and beauty brands like Velvet, Splendid, Philip Stein, Carmen Marc Valvo, and Black Halo.

•Presented design work to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Created wireframes, designs and prototypes for e-commerce websites and collaborated with the development team to push innovation of functionality.
• Directed lifestyle and product photography for digital and print materials including the casting of talent, stylists,

and photographers.
• Lead team of designers and retouchers to produce image assets for web and email marketing.
• Coded and deployed brand positioning and promotional emails. 

Visual Designer - Intermix Media  2004 - 2008

Intermix is an online media and e-commerce enterprise backed by proprietary technology. 

I designed interactive advertising campaigns, landing pages and promotional materials for direct to consumer products.

 

• Partnered closely with media buyers to test data-driven creative and direct response marketing.
• Leveraged marketing analytics and customer research to develop unique content.
• Photographed and retouched product imagery.
•Created interactive banner ads that generated record-breaking ROI.
• Strategized ways to improve clicks and conversion using multivariate & A/B testing.
